CSR OUTREACH: STEM SPARKS@SDAR

I participated in a STEM outreach program, conducted at a local school to spark students’ interest in science and technology. I represented my university as part of a team, where I conducted a hands-on demonstration on how to make cheese, supported by clear scientific explanations to help students understand the concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Career Folio & Career Carnival

I participated in a Career Carnival as part of my career folio, where I dressed up as a dermatologist to introduce and explain the profession to others. I shared information about the roles and responsibilities of a dermatologist, including diagnosing and treating skin conditions. I also showcased various skincare products and explained their functions, ingredients, and how they benefit different skin types.

Local University Leadership Course

I participated in a university-level leadership course designed to develop essential leadership, communication, and teamwork skills among students. The program involved interactive workshops, group projects, and practical activities that emphasized real-world problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration in diverse team settings.

Teamwork

I am able to work effectively in a team at all levels by consistently contributing to group tasks and responsibilities. I complete my work on time and ensure that I play my part in achieving the team’s goals.

I am adaptable and willing to take on different roles depending on what the team needs, whether it involves planning, preparing, or presenting. I also cooperate well with others and support my teammates to ensure smooth collaboration and successful outcomes.

Digital & Multimedia

I was responsible for the multimedia and design aspects of my project/program. My role involved creating visual materials such as posters, slides, and booth decorations to support our presentation. I ensured that all designs were clear, attractive, and aligned with the theme of the program.

I used design tools such as Canva (and other editing platforms if applicable) to produce engaging visuals that helped communicate information effectively to the audience. I also worked closely with my team to ensure the content and design were consistent and suitable for presentation purposes.

I have received certificates recognizing my participation in various academic and co-curricular programs. These certificates reflect my active involvement in different activities that support my personal development, skills enhancement, and contribution to university and school-level events. They serve as evidence of my commitment to learning, teamwork, and continuous improvement beyond academic studies.
